Preferred Systems President and CEO, Mike Chevalier has been appointed to leadership positions on local and state boards in Pennsylvania. Mike has recently been appointed to the newly formed Erie County Heroin Task Force to address heroin issues in Erie County.
He was also appointed to Chair of the Northwest Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board Youth Committee and reappointed to the Northwest Pennsylvania Workforce Development Board.

The Preferred Systems, Inc. Minority Recruitment Division is excited to announce a new opportunity to help local minority workers seek employment on the construction of the new Bayfront Place Courtyard by Marriott and Parking Garage. We are partnering with local agencies to spread the word and recruit minority workers.
Preferred Systems, Inc. will again be providing minority recruitment services in the Erie area, this time to the Bayfront Place Courtyard by Marriott and Parking Garage project. PSI’s role is to ensure that the Erie County Convention Center Authority (ECCA) meets its goal of at least 10 percent workforce diversity in connection with this project.
PSI has been contracted to provide drug and alcohol assessments to inmates at the Erie County Prison. PSI’s drug and alcohol assessment personnel will assess inmates in residence at the County Jail to determine if they have a dependency problem. If so, the assessment professional will make a recommendation as to what level of treatment is necessary for that individual.
PSI facilitates the continuing education credits to the business development organization, CEO Space. CEO Space is a global organization serving business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs in over 140 countries with networking, mentoring, and applied management solutions. Members meet five times each year in Henderson, Nevada for education, training, business development, and networking opportunities. Preferred Systems, Inc. provides continuing education credits in over 27 different professional areas, including legal, accountancy, financial planning, etc. CEO Space members attend forums for the education and networking but find added value in being able to obtain continuing education credits.
On September 12, Preferred Systems, Inc. participated in the “Our Community Matters” dinner held at the MLK Community Center. The event featured Dr. Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jr. as the keynote speaker. The fundraising event was held to benefit the Erie Community Center in their efforts to address violence, poverty, and unrest in the community.
