The Value of Educational Relationships

Preferred Systems, Inc. has engaged in an exciting new educational relationship with the Millionaire Home Inspector Community. The Millionaire Home Inspector Community is an organization of Home Inspectors focused on the development and expansion of home inspection businesses. Members of the Millionaire Home Inspector community are using the continuing education process to enhance relationships with the real estate community by adding value to the educational content they make available to real estate agents in their offices. All states require that real estate agents earn continuing education credits to maintain their licenses.

Home inspection businesses benefit by establishing strong relationships with real estate agents. A home inspection is a necessary step in the home buying process.  Home inspectors can expand their business by becoming the go-to inspector used by real estate agents in their area. Home inspectors can demonstrate themselves as an expert in their field by teaching continuing education courses to real estate agents in their home inspection office. By becoming the real estate agent’s go-to person for continuing education credits, the home inspector also becomes the real estate agent’s go-to person for home inspections. The relationship is a win-win for all parties involved.

So what is Preferred Systems’ role? We work with home inspectors who want to become approved in their state to teach real estate continuing education courses. The courses are primarily related to the home inspection process. PSI provides all the course materials the inspectors need to facilitate the course. We link the home inspector’s website to our website in order to manage all the front end and back end work. Through the integrated website, PSI registers participants for the course, processes payments, issues certificates of completion, and reports course attendance to the necessary state agencies.

The Millionaire Home Inspector Community is using continuing education to build and expand their businesses. The home inspectors are positioning themselves to be sought out by real estate agents to fill their CEU needs, and more importantly to fill their home inspection needs.
